MDN lacks documentation for the :-ms-input-placeholder pseudo-class. First-party docs: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh772745(v=vs.85).aspx
For a eventual mentee: the page lack of a live sample. See https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/MDN/Contribute/Structures/Live_samples You'll need IE/Edge to test it.

thank you Sir for assigning me this bug. As I am new here, if you help me for the initial step it will be great.
Hi! So here is the review. It was very good for a start and with the information you had. The position in the hierarchy was wrong, and there were already a partially done document. So I merged both. Your example was very good and I simplified it a bit to make it more readable. I tightened the structure too as we use a rigid one. The sections and there order must be followed, and the title of the page must exactly be :-ms-input-placeholder (not The :-ms-… pseudo-class) You can have a look at: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/:-ms-input-placeholder Thank you very much. I'm marking this bug as closed. Fancy taking another bug?
