Whenever mouseovers trigger DOM changes on this page, the animation of the GIF in the center pauses. Build 2002020208, but its always been like this. Performance is actually comparable to IE6, but slightly worse than NN4.79; however NN4.79 cannot do the DOM modifications as fast, so you can't really compare.
Is the image animation run off timers? Are we starving them?

I don't see this. Has it been fixed in the last five months?
I still see it, though the DOM modification acts differently now.
Attached file testcase (works fine) (obsolete) —
The site doesnt seem to have any mouseovers. With my own testcase I dont see any problems on build 2002-12-20-08-trunk. Either this has been fixed, or my testcase is wrong. If you still see this feel free to reopen, but please attach a working(failing) testcase.

Comment on attachment 109876 [details] testcase (works fine) I don't see what this attachment has to do with this bug.
Attachment #109876 - Attachment is obsolete: true
http://web.archive.org/web/20020802033442/http://internet.citizens.coop/ (http://internet.citizens.coop/ now has no animations) Trunk gecko 1.9 may be slightly better than 1.8 (or it could be my imagination) IE6 behavior on my w2k machine is much worse. (In reply to comment #1) > Is the image animation run off timers? Are we starving them? probably?
Trying to repro/confirm this one, but no working testcase.
