Currently there are several obstacles a user has to overcome if he wants to download (additional) dictionaries for spell check. My opinion: That's more serious than only requirement of some enhancement, maintenance of dictionaries-download is completely neglected and might need a complete rework. Some discussion might be required to find a user friendly solution which can be coped with our limited staff.

This question is useless in a meta / tracking bug. Each related bug will get an adequate fix.
