1237203 - Unable to properly add email address in the 'Firefox on mobile' snippet

Reproducible with Firefox 43.0.4 build 3 (Build ID: 20160105164030)
Affected platforms: Windows 7 64-bit, Mac OS X 10.9.5 and Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit

STR:
1. Launch Firefox and go to about:home
2. Refresh the page until 'Firefox on mobile' snippet is displayed.
3. Enter your email in the designated area.

Expected result: Email address is properly added.
 
Actual result: After adding 1 character, the focus is automatically changed into the Search bar.

Additional notes:
1. Snippet N/A on latest Nightly 45.0a2 and Developer Edition 46.0a1; 
Also reproducible with 43.0 (Build ID: 20151208100201), but *not* with 42.0 (Build ID: 20151029151421) - this is a regression.
