I'm often baffled by how little information we show in our tab queue notification. I think a quick-win could be to use the "inbox style" for the notification and show some of the URLs queued. See the attached screenshot.

I like it! Ship it! This is something we wanted to do originally but I think we had technical difficulties.

I think this also qualifies as the "Richer" notifications in bug 1172272.. so we might want to rename that one to be about the Actions on the notification.

Antlam: Quick question, what do you think about adding an accent color? It's just a one-liner in code.

(Wow, the colors look different on all my desktop screens)

To clarify: This color is only used on Android 5.0+ device. It's ignored on previous versions that didn't support accent colors in notifications.

Release Note Request (optional, but appreciated)
[Why is this notable]: Nice new feature visible to users.
[Suggested wording]: Tab queue notifications show more information
[Links (documentation, blog post, etc)]:

Please suggest improvements to the wording if you think of something more exciting! Thanks.

Noted for aurora as "Tab Queue notifications show as URL list"
How about "Tab Queue notification bar now lists multiple URLs opened in the background" with a link to the SUMO page that explains Tab Queue? Is there a better source to link to, or anywhere that we explain what this feature does for users?

Anthony, do you have a suggestion here for the wording?

BTW, I love this feature and use it every day!

Oh, yeah, this is something for the release notes! I think we only calls this "tab queue(s)" in Engineering. The setting is called "Open multiple links" - which again is not the best name for the feature. We have been discussing this in bug 1220932. Maybe we can say something like "Improved notification for tabs opened in the background" or like "Notifications for tabs opened in the background now list the URLs".

I like Sebastian's suggestion of "Improved notification for tabs opened in background". But I feel like that is more fitted for when we land bug 1172272.

Perhaps "Notification for links opened in the background now include URLs"? That seems to read a bit better also.

I also have a blog post that describes this feature but also how it came to be designed and developed: https://medium.com/@antlam/open-multiple-links-1ce475c47de3#.xismso2pw

Thanks! Glad you like it :lizzard! :)
