Preconditions:
Using Mulet to simulate TV, using latest master (Nightly version 46.0a1) and 2.5 branches (1/26/2016)
STR:
1. Launch Browser in Desktop (Firefox 43.0.4) with my account and go to a URL without www prefix, e.g. amazon.es
2. The browser forwards me to www.amazon.es but there is just one entry in my history (www.amazon.es)
3. Sign-in TV with my account and sync history. Two entries are shown in the synced history that correspond to amazon website:
* www.amazon.es
* amazon.es
Expected Result:
Just one entry appears in the synced history of my TV as in the desktop (e.g. www.amazon.es)
Actual Result:
Two entries appear in the synced history of my TV
This seems to be a problem depending on how pages are redirected, for instance, going to google.com redirects to google.es with some parameters and in that case 3 pages where shown in the synced history.
See screenshot attached.
Note: I am also seeing this issue in FxOS
