Steps to reproduce:
This bug is newly introduced in version 44 of Firefox. It occurs on Windows and Linux. May Windows header:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:44.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/44.0
User "dhgutteridge" reported this issue also on Fedora 23 (Link: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2016-c12fa80d79)
Needed settings in Firefox:
1) Options --> Privacy
2) Set options according to Screenshot "settings1.png"
3) Set options according to Screenshot "settings2.png"
4) Login to a webpage
5) Logout
6) Close Firefox
7) Re-open Firefox
8) Navigate to the same webpage
9) When you type your mail address to login, it is still in the cache
Actual results:
When you type your mail address to login, it is still in the cache.
Expected results:
The cache should be cleared after closing Firefox.
In version 43 this worked as expected.

Yes, it's a known regression about Firefox not clearing forms on exit.
