Just like bug 1201770, we'll need new assets now for Bing's new logo.

Assets incoming.
Assignee: nobody → margaret.leibovic
NI reminder for these assets.
Flags: needinfo?(alam)
Still looking/waiting for assets. We started a convo to see if we could get this from the bing team.
Made the request yesterday - just waiting for assets. JN

As you might have noticed, the Bing logo is changing!

What’s different?
1.	The brand color is changing from Yellow to Teal
2.	We’ve capitalized the “B” in Bing
3.	We’ve reduced the number of angles in the symbol

Why are we doing this?
1.	Teal: We frequently show the Bing logo on a white background, or reversed out as a white logo on a teal background. The teal + white combination is beautiful, and that color combination achieves the 4.50:1 contrast ratio required as part of Microsoft’s accessibility guidelines. Teal works great alongside Windows branding, where Bing often shows up, as well as alongside many of our partner brands (both Microsoft and external partners). The new teal color is already used in the Bing app for iPhone, and will start to roll out across more Bing experiences in the near future.
2.	Capitalized B: Across Microsoft, most of our major product brands are capitalized, including Microsoft, Windows, Skype, Xbox, and Office.
3.	Reduced angles in symbol: Increasingly, the Bing logo shows up in smaller sizes, including the “Powered by Bing” label when Bing is an ingredient brand, as well as in social and mobile apps. In these smaller spaces, having a less complex symbol improves legibility.

What’s the timing?
1.	Our trademark is updated effective Jan 14th.
2.	Within the Bing.com product experience, you’ll see updates to the logos happen pretty quickly. Our homepage logo, the symbol on the search results page (“SERP”), and Bing Maps logo are in process of being updated.
3.	Most Bing marketing got updated in February.
4.	After those initial updates, there will be a “long tail” of updates that happen throughout our 2016 fiscal year (ending June 30, 2016). We’re conducting extensive tests before each update to ensure we don’t inadvertently cause problems in the product experience.

Are all things Bing changing? Yes.
1.	The Bing consumer experiences at Bing.com will be updated according to the dates referenced above.
2.	Bing experiences for our business partners – like Bing Ads – will be updated within the next few months as well.

How can you help?
Please make sure you update all Bing assets by August 1, 2016. Sooner is preferred!

Thanks Joanne! sorry I didn't see this go by my email.

Do you think you could ask for a vector of the new "b" ?

These PNG are great. But just to make sure they're sharp when we ship them across all our products, a vector file would be very helpful.
