Small annoyance: opening a new tab feels slow, in part because there are two separate animations. Upon tapping the "+" icon, there's first an animation to expand a new (and blank) thumbnail, then there seems to be a slight pause, and then the thumbnail animates to grow to fullscreen.

This would feel a lot snappier if it either just immediately dropped you into a new fullscreen browser, or performed a single fluid animation that added a new thumbnail and expanded it.
