What did you do? ================ 1. Clicked the gear and went to options in the master menu list 2.I clicked "Use These Pages" 3. Then I clicked Save and exited. What happened? ============== Every time I open my Browser now my Options in the tools menu is opened up and displayed as a Tab window. I have to shut it off every time. It remembered all my pages I wanted for Tabs INCLUDING the one that commands the browser to do what I tell it I want to. I'd rather have the tools NOT open like this. What should have happened? ========================== The tools should have remembered my preferences and never opened "Options" as a permanent Tab. Is there anything else we should know? ====================================== As long as that tab is open the command to save remembers that as a Tab. Oops! It's a tiny Nat if you ask me but a bug no less. This is a potential risk to the security of the browser only if someone gets on my computer and uses Firefox because it displays all my tools and preferences for security and give access to wreak havoc quickly with my Sync and security. I grant you this is a small and least likely issue but a potential threat in the long haul to children destroying a beautiful platform parents want to keep as far from prying eyes as possible. The risk of data loss is readily a simple process with that type of command kept in view. Could be worse but I've lost my Firefox more times than I care to admit thru no-fault of the browser but a computer Service Center breaking my machine. At least I won't have them access my account or my passwords so readily as I will delete my browser if I have to send it in for repairs again, but make sure to upload my data on the cloud until I get another computer or get it back working.

amazonsol - Thanks for submitting this bug. It does not appear to be security sensitive, so I'm lifting the "Security-Sensitive Websites Bug" flag. Since this appears to be FireFox behavior you are referring to, I'm going to move this bug over to the FireFox project to see if they can help you.
