Generic error message after cancelling character coding dialog

In Bug #125889 I got a warning about characters in my mail that can't be found
in the default character coding.
After pressing cancel I get this error:
"Sending of message failed. Please verify that your Mail & Newsgroups account
settings are correct and try again"
This is irritating IMHO. A simple message like "Your mail has not been sent"
or simply returning to the composition window would be enough, since you were
already informed by the character coding warning message.
Another approach would be to tell the user to change the character coding in
the view menu.
This is a dupe of Bug 161876, which was declared a dup of bug 66763. Duping.
