When launching "mozilla -turbo", the icon in the systray appears at once. It doesn't show any progress, and it doesn't show when loading is finished. I think it can be easily enhanced. A few little ideas: 1) The tray icon appears at once but greyed. When Mozilla loading is fully finished, the icon turns from grey to blue, to show the "now ready" state. 2) The tray icon appears at once but empty (only a black silhouette). During the loading, the icon fills from bottom to top. When icon is 100% filled (all blue), then the loading is finished. Thanks.

Changing `tray' to `window' would change the meaning of this bug entirely, and make it a duplicate of bug 36776.

Summary: [RFE] Tray icon should show loading progress → Tray icon should show loading progress
The fact that QuickLaunch doesn't show any progress information is really annoying for cluesless users on older systems (Celeron 333/128MB/W98/my parents). The harddisk doesn't show any activity, the mouse-cursor isn't changing, and it is possible that no loading at all happens. Can't the code used for the 'you've got new mail'-popup be tweaked to give the user a clue of what QuickStart is doing? Possible states could be 'loading', 'ready', 'starting mozilla', 'starting mail' and so on. Also, when exiting moz 1.2.1 and immediately restarting it, or at startup, before the QuickLaunch has started completely, mozilla won't start at all after clicking the icon, because QuickLaunch doesn't 'listen' to attempts to start mozilla before it's completely loaded. Should it be possible to load the 'listener' first, and load the QuickLaunch code after that, putting the 'start mozilla' command in queue?

Quicklaunch/Turbo Mode is no longer supported in Seamonkey 2 and Seamonkey1.X is in the maintenance mode (fixing only security bugs)
