[Affected versions]: - Firefox 46beta6 - latest Developer Edition 47.0a2 - latest Nightly 48.0a1 (Only GTK3 builds are affected) [Affected platforms]: - Ubuntu 12.04 32bit [Steps to reproduce]: 1. Start Firefox 2. Enter Customize mode 3. Drag icons or tools [Expected result]: - No layout issue can be seen [Actual result]: - Icons are messed up while dragging. [Regression range]: - This happens only on builds with GTK3 (I tested with 43beta6 and the same behavior can be seen there so I think it is safe to say that this is not a recent regression). [Additional notes]: - Ubuntu 14.04 32bit is not affected by this.
It's hard to make this nice with old GTK3 versions, but I expected better than this. It looks much better here with the same GTK version. Still blocky/aliased, but the text is readable. Perhaps softer text rendering options make it worse.

We should aim to fix this for 47 or 48, but it doesn't sound like a release blocker for the feature or for 46.
Karl, is this something we should be tracking?

Given this only affects very old systems (but still supported), I don't think we can afford to diagnose and polish this.
