Details

found using 2002.02.18.10 comm bits on linux rh7.2. seems that there are two menu items that do the same thing. should one of them be removed, or are they supposed to do different things? 1. select File > Publish > Publish [see also bug 126272 for this submenu redundancy]. this brings up the publish and settings dialog. 2. select File > Publish As. this also brings up the publish and settings dialog --at the same tab even.

Sorry I wasn't clearer about this one. This is NOT a problem if you are editing a new document (about:blank) In the case of "about:blank" choosing "save" will give you the save as dialog. This is working the same way as that. If you are editing something like: http://www.mozilla.org/index.html and choosing "publish" is bringing up the dialog, that *IS* a bug. If you are editing something like: file:///mydrive/myfolder/myfile.html then publish should be disabled.
spoke with kathy on this --what i'm seeing is expected, and tested her scenarios per comment 2. marking invalid. sorry for the noise!
