The user should be able to move the area selected by the measuring tool using keyboard shortcuts. The shortcuts might simply be Up, Down, Left and Right where each key moves the selection 1 pixel in the appropriate direction. Additionally, moving might be influenced by modifiers. E.g. additionally pressing Ctrl may move the area by 10 or 100 pixels. Sebastian
