For all columns that I've looked at (in thread display and address book
display), with the exception of the subject column in the thread pane:

Resizing a clumn doesn't repaint the text in the column correctly.  If you
increase the size of a column, the text that was truncated before stays
truncated, even though there's more space for the text now.  Decreasing the size
of a culumn will make the text in the column to the right paint over the text of
the column being resized: the text of the column should be truncated instead.

Oh, and expanding a column with a truncated title (eg, Priority column in thread
pane) never expands the column title.
