Steps to reproduce:

I let Thunderbird install the latest update.


Actual results:

The update spammed column changes to most of my 700+ folders. It took out my From column, and put in this annoying Correspondents column, which is really hard to scan fast, because all the arrows are the same color.


Expected results:

I expect my column settings to stay the way I put them, unless I change them myself. Why are you "forcing" changes on user's machines without asking them? This wasted an hour of my time, for nothing.
My biggest concern, though, is that Mozilla would actually "force" unnecessary changes like this on users in the first place. This type of bullying is why we use open source software in the first place, to get beyond this petty behaviour from corporations. Who ever spammed this change on us should be fired!
