I've gotten several "Add to Home Screen" prompts for Facebook, and after dismissing them, they continue to pop up. I'd like a way to turn this feature off (perhaps in Notifications?), or at least not have it notify again for the same site.
If we show this too often then let's try to improve the heuristics (That's why it's behind switchboard flags). We already remember the decision of the user (accept/decline) and should not show the prompt for the same URL again. In your case: Is it really always the same URL or are we prompting for slightly different Facebook URLs?

+1 to not showing it again for a certain URL if the user already said no. Maybe we should make it about the host name, rather than the URL. I wonder what Chrome does.
I'm pretty sure they're different urls, but to users it's still the same "site". I guess there are problems with using the host name instead of url (similar to the new favicon "letter"), e.g., blogspot or medium.
