Build ID: 20160406094806
Steps to reproduce:
In TBird, I deleted 2 accounts: '/mail/namecheap/' & '/mail/webmasterworld/'. Each had a sent mail target folder that is a subfolder of a different account (account 'X') -- history: when I specified that sent mail be put into '/mail/x/namecheap/' & '/mail/x/webmasterworld/', those folders turned into blue postage stamps.
Later, I deleted '/mail/namecheap/' & '/mail/webmasterworld/'.
Actual results:
'/mail/x/namecheap/' & '/mail/x/webmasterworld/' remained blue postage stamps and can't be deleted.
Expected results:
'/mail/x/namecheap/' & '/mail/x/webmasterworld/' should have turned into regular folders.
This is the 2nd time I've reported this bug.
Is there a workaround?
How can I force '/mail/x/namecheap/' & '/mail/x/webmasterworld/' to become ordinary folders so that I can delete them?

look for the folderflags addon
Component: Untriaged → Account Manager
Summary: Lingering blue postage stamps (sent folders) can't be deleted → Lingering Sent folder (special folder) can't be deleted

It worked like a charm. Thank you, Wayne! And, it's well designed. With no reading at all, I brought up the folder properties, saw the 'Flags' tab, and resent the 'Sent' flags for two obsolete folders. When I eventually deleted the folders, TBird went "away" for a long, long, time (with no indication of what it was doing), but it eventually came back.
Regarding bug: I expect that when I remove an account, the 'Sent' folder would be either deleted, or at least marked as not-'Sent' (not blue postage stamp).
