Steps to reproduce:

1. Open a usenet/newsgroup server with new unread messages like news.mozilla.org.
2. Highlight more than one newsgroup.
3. Right click with the highlights intact.


Actual results:

Nothing happens.


Expected results:

According to David E. Ross' newsgroup posts, it is supposed to work like in Thunderbird client. See my https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mozilla.support.seamonkey/IBEAz0G1-JM newsgroup thread for the details from others and me. Other SM users reproduced it too.

Actually, I indicated that I expected it to work in SeaMonkey's Mail-News component the same way it does indeed work in Thunderbird.  I am not in a position to say how it is SUPPOSED TO WORK.

Effect is  REPRODUCIBLE with  English SeaMonkey 2.45a1  (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:48.0)  Gecko/20100101 Firefox/48.0 Build 20160308001946  (Default Classic Theme)  on German WIN7 64bit

a) I also don't know what exactly the intended context menu behavior for multiple
   selected NG, NS and mail-accounts should be. But I think it should be 
   like with TB
b) Not a new problem, already REPRODUCIBLE  with  DE  SeaMonkey 2.5  
   (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:8.0.1)  Gecko/20111121  Firefox/8.0.1   
   Build 20111121045514  (Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit
c) TB also opens context menu after rightclick on multiple selected 
   e-mail-accounts, news-servers and newsgroups. So I think we have a
   more general context menu problem here.
d) no obvious DUP found with <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?cmdtype=dorem&remaction=run&namedcmd=DUPs1278152&sharer_id=41036>, 
   and also no fix for TB for this problem found with the same query

I think this one is a DUP of "Bug 1189617 - Can not do any action for multiple selected folders, email-accounts, newsservers ".
