I'm not sure if this is a bug or a missing feature, but it seems that when using
IMAP, new message counts in folders other than "Inbox" don't ever update without
visiting that folder. This is bad when using server-side filtering to
automatically file messages into sub-folders... I'd have to go visit each of my
subfolders just to see if there's anything new. "Get new messages" only updates
the msg counts on the Inbox, same with "Get all new messages". Even when I
first open the Mail window and log in to the IMAP account only the Inbox counts
are updated.

Other IMAP clients I've tried do a better job of this... "evolution" will update
all sub-folders on login or when "send/receive" is clicked. "Mulberry"
periodically updates all folders selected as "favorites" (seems odd).

By contrast, my News (NNTP) account in Mozilla updates msg counts on all
newsgroups on initial open and when I collapse and then expand the newsgroup
listing.

FYI, I'm using Cyrus as the IMAP server.
