We still have links in SeaMonkey Help and may be elsewhere with targets on <https://www.mozilla.org/docs/>. This target does no longer exist, contents has been moved to www-archive.mozilla.org. Now we have to decide what to do. a) Simply drop links? But may be users will need that information b) Shift contents to www.seamonkey-project.org? But currently we already have big problems to keep contents there up to date, and so I think things even will become worse if we outsource additional tasks to the home page. And Localization is poor. c) Shift contents to the wiki this is the most flexible solution but Wiki-Editing is a horror, we do not have any working switching to other localizations ... d) Simply change links from www.mozilla.org to www-archive.mozilla.org Most simple solution, but there can not be done any maintenance for those legacy pages, and it might be worrying for users to navigate in those old pages with also completely outdated and useless contents. e) Use other existing mozilla web space like https://developer.mozilla.org/ of similar? But SeaMonkey's future in mozilla's home is unclear f) Find a new home for such contents. Example: <https://unofficialseamonkeynews.wordpress.com/2016/06/10/how-cool-are-custom-keywords/>. That took only few minutes, localization can be done easily, and is also possible for new contents. Of course there are possible many other platforms. g) Create a new Help page with that contents h) may be there do exist more alternatives I think I will add this problem to next Status Meeting agenda.

NEW due to <https://blog.seamonkey-project.org/2015/11/25/my-unconfirmed-bug-reports/> (In reply to Suraj Ghimire from comment #1) I did a string search for all help.xhtml, It seems that we only have: cs_nav_prefs_navigator.xhtml: <https://www.mozilla.org/de/docs/end-user/domain-guessing.html> behind "detailed information about this feature", now <http://www-archive.mozilla.org/docs/end-user/domain-guessing.html> nav_help.xhtml: <http://www.mozilla.org/docs/end-user/keywords.html> behind "For more details and examples", now <http://www-archive.mozilla.org/docs/end-user/keywords.html>! Both seem to be useful still now. So I suggest 1. Do a quick solution immediately and modify the URLs in Help @Suraj Ghimire: can you create patches 2. I agree, we should have that in our help, we should open 2 bugs for "Create new help chapters for ... with the goal to integrate contents in to Help, localize help pages and so on. I can start that if there are no objections

(Should 1267071 be mentioned in "See also" as well?)

Currently, it looks like there are three such links in the help: proxy auto-configuration (bug 1267071) , "how cool are custom keywords" (bug 1270908) and domain guessing (bug 1269477, bug 1634930).
