1281003 - Localized builds links to /all are hard to discover?

In Bug 1259211 we recently decoupled the “other” links from download buttons on www.mozilla.org, and moved those links to the page footer. These "other" links included a link to localized builds of Firefox, which point to /all pages such as:

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/developer/all/

While I agree that making the download buttons themselves less cluttered is overall the right move, it seems relegating the links right down in the page footer has impacted discover-ability on some pages (especially longer pages, like /firefox/developer/).

I'm filing this bug after someone in #moco was asking how to download a localized build of Dev Edition. They ended up using Google search to find the translated version of the /developer download page, rather than finding the link in the page content itself (also keep in mind there are more translated versions of Fx than we have translated versions of many pages).

5:54 PM <agibson> pmac: yeah, they wanted all the clutter around the buttons removed (bar the privacy link)
5:54 PM <pmac> bittin: every version of Firefox has the dev tools to be clear. Developer edition just has a few extra things and is a pre-release version so it gets new features faster than the main release.
5:55 PM <agibson> I do think making the buttons simpler makes sense overall, but it would be nice if the smaller links weren’t relegated so far down the page

Yea, /firefox/developer/all/ is currently orphaned AFAIK. It's noted in my spreadsheet:

It's not technically orphaned, there is a link to it on /firefox/developer (as mentioned above). It's just difficult to find.

I see. It's extremely difficult to find the link, and mixing the global footer items with page-specific links isn't a good idea. The /firefox/channel/ page is worse where it has no links to /all/ pages.

The channel page is orphaned itself, I really hope we can fix it soon.
