Overview Description:
Unable to see 'Personal Address Book' & 'Collected Addresses' upon relaunch of
Address Book in the same session.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch AddressBook using Task | AddressBook.
2. Now you will see 'Personal Assress Book' and entries contained in it.
3. Close AddressBook and relaunch AddressBook using Task | AddressBook.
   You will not see the 'Personal Assress Book' & 'Collected Addresses'
   directory.


Note: Don't close Apprunner/Messenger in step 3 above and start addressbook. The
bug occurs only in the Same Session.

Build Date & Platform Bug Found:
8/30/99 Windows Debug build. I pulled the tree aroung 9.00 AM.

Additional Builds and Platforms Tested On:
1999-08-30-10-M10, Windows release build.

Esther is seeing the same thing on Linux also.

I've seen the same problem last week, not on the relaunch but on the first time
opening the address book.  The address book back end has given the RDF the right
information.  I can't tell what's the problem, but it sure looks similar to bug
12811.  I think we should recheck this one when bug 12811 has fixed.

I've double checked with address book RDF code. The information passed
(GetTarget, GetTargets) to RDF is correct,  the uri is fine too.  I found when
click in the tree, the uri is display as "dirTree" in the JS dump code.

As of today's build on my NT machine, relaunch will see the entries on the
result pane but not the address books.  Once I resize the splitter, the
directory shows up.  It looks like a refresh problem to me.

Clarify on the term address book and directory for my last comment.  They mean
the entries on left pane of address book window.  Now we only have address
books, LDAP directory will come post beta.

Using win98 build dated 19990929 on win98, mac and linux, I still see the
problem. 2nd launch of address book in same session doesn't display the Address
books in the Directory pane (left side).  Still have to use Candice's workaround
of adding a New address book in order for the others to display.

Using 1999100617M10 commercial build on win98 and 1999100615M10 commercial build
on mac this is seems to be fixed with the fix that went in for 13443.  I will
check linux later and then update this bug.  Then recheck with m11 builds.

Looks like this was fixed by either the <div> wrapped around the tree or the
removal of duplicate style sheets.  Marking fixed.

I retested with today's build (1999110509-win32, 1999110508-mac and linux) on
all 3 platforms and this is fixed.  Note: This should not be confused with bug
17895 for the Results pane not displaying the card.  This bug was for the
Directory pane where the Address Books were not displaying the 2nd time.  This
is verfied as fixed.
