Steps to reproduce:

Is it possible to make "Open all in tabs", in the bookmarks submenu, optional please, with an option in settings or an entry in about:config ?

For now there is no way to disable it. I don't need it and I found it disturbing.

This is not accurate. "Open all in tabs" has always existed for *bookmark* folders. For *livemarks* (RSS feeds) it sadly disappeared in FF 13 and I restored it in FF 41 in bug 730829.

Personally I see no need for a preference to disable it.

Oh ok it didn't noticed that bug 730829 wasn't related to my problem.

I don't think we will add a hidden pref to remove these. You could write an add-on or user style to do so.
