Attached image Screencast of alert
OS: Mac OS Sierra

Step to reproduce:
1. Open Firefox Developer Edition

Expected result:
Firefox should open and operate normally

Actual result:
Mac dialog opens, prompting the install of the font "Osaka."

After talking with Asa, Lonnen, and Potch, we've determined this is a Mac OS issue, but could perhaps be prevented on Firefox's end, since it may be checking to see if certain fonts are installed for preemptive localization.

It's worth monitoring until the release of Mac OS Sierra (late September or early October) to ensure our Firefox Dev Edition UX doesn't get interrupted.
Which version of Sierra? This feels like it might be a dupe of 1279962 given some of the symptoms there. I don't see "Osaka" mentioned/hardcoded anywhere except for Japanese monospace font, which doesn't seem like it should show up.

Does this happen immediately on opening it with a clean profile? Does it reproduce on Nightly? Release/Beta?

Actually, per bug 1279962 comment #0 this is just a straight dupe - I wasn't sure because I'd gotten there via its other dupe, bug 1284229.
