+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1290697 +++

Steps to reproduce:

When opening an URL which is immediatly redirected, the URL is not stored in the history and therefor not available for auto-completion in the address bar.


Actual results:

1. Opened http://hotmail.com
2. closed page
3. started typing hotm..., but "hotmail.com" is not contained in auto-completion list
