1. Make Flash click-to-play.
2. Load

The page displays the following error message instead of showing the click-to-play prompt:

  Flash plugin missing
Get the latest Flash player to view this content
  Get Flash player

3. So we must manually activate Flash by clicking the plugin icon in the address bar and the "Allow Now" button.

Allowing Flash now should reload the page (and play the video), but the page does not reload.

We're currently discussing whether problem #1 is a bug/expected behavior.

Let's focus this bug on problem #2. If you activate Flash and manually reload the page, does it then work properly?

Summary: shows "Get Flash" error instead of click-to-play prompt and activating Flash doesn't reload page → On activating Flash doesn't reload page
Priority: -- → P3
Activating Flash from the address bar correctly restarts the Flash video in Nightly 51 (2016-08-24) or Beta 49. I do not see the "Flash plugin missing" error message in Nightly 51.

However, I *do* see the "Flash plugin missing" error message in Aurora 50 and activating Flash from the address bar does *not* restart the video. I am using a separate (clean) profile for Aurora, so perhaps that is related to the problem.

I am using Flash Beta on Windows 10.
Resolving as wont fix, plugin support deprecated in Firefox 85.
