So after some VNC fun with Windows XP I think these are failing because the permission prompt is not shown since screen sharing is disabled by default on old platforms. Luckily Bug 1058829 enabled a pref-gate for that and we might fix this by flipping the pref. Arguably we could also disable that test case on Windows XP since virtually no user will ever see it, but flipping the pref is even easier than that.
