129754 - Mail notification only works for INBOX

I am using server-side filtering on an IMAP server. (Specifically, Sieve rules
for Cyrus IMAP) Mail is directly delivered into folders like
INBOX.lists.bugtraq, rather than Mozilla filtering when it is delivered into INBOX.

I am never notified of any mail to these other folders. The taskbar icon only
happens for INBOX, and the bolded count in the folder list only happens for
other folders if I select the folder after the message has been received. This
makes it inconvenient to check for new messages in mailing lists.

I noticed that INBOX has a unique icon, so I think Mozilla considers it a
special case. This just isn't true for me - mail can appear in any folder. I
think this will be a greater problem when Sieve becomes more common.

This also occurs on my Linux installation, so changing to all platforms.
