Talos has detected a Firefox performance regression from push bac8c738419eb9ff1fe0947120e879707d19c97b. As author of one of the patches included in that push, we need your help to address this regression.

Matt, this was uplifted to aurora/beta this week and we are seeing regressions.  We don't see the regressions from when this landed on trunk, I assume something else is mitigating the regression.

you can see a few specific pages have large regressions.

Can you take a look at this?  Since this was uplifted to Aurora/Beta, we should understand this sooner rather than later.

it looks like this was backed out on aurora/beta, possibly there is nothing to do here?  If we reland, please look at the code from a performance regression standpoint.
