I'm sure this is an enormous undertaking, but it sure would be nice if there was
a way to add support (plugin maybe?) for PDAs so I could sync my iPAQ with my
mailbox. As far as I know, outlook is the only software that supports this,
regardless of the pda....and mozilla's mail program is sooo much better than
outlook. I just wish it had this one feature!

Related (but not the same though): bug 112555.
Couldn't find dupes.

What do you want to sync exactly? Your addressbook? All your emails?
This is in the wrong component at the moment and should be reassigned to the
right place (where that is depends on what you're really asking for).

someone should change the title of this bug to fer to ** address book ** sync.
i really want this too. My mobile phone supports SyncML so if Mozilla would
becoe a SyncML client, I think I'd be real close to ditching my current mail client.

Should this bug be moved to MailNews Core (or MN.C Graveyard, after bug 496281)?

I suspect we want all remaining bugs to stand, until we know where sync is headed.
