See attached screenshot, from the current Nightly on Windows. At least on Windows and Mac (haven't checked Linux), when using the Dev Edition theme set to dark mode, the dark version of the identity icon is shown in the URL bar instead of the light version, so the icon is effectively invisible (but you can see it if you zoom in very close).
