Can you verify that this still happens if you manually flip `browser.tabs.useCache` to `true` in about:config?
If it does work, then you're probably hitting (unrelated) bug Bug 1312045.

Tested with:
- LG G4 (Android 5.1) & Huawei Honor (Android 5.1)
- LG G4 (Android 6.0.1), HTC Desire 820 (Android 6.0.1) & Nexus 5 (Android 6.0.1)
I am providing information on behalf of Teo, the issue is fixed in all of the devices listed above if the `browser.tabs.useCache` is set to `true` in about:config. However this does not fix the problem for Nexus 5 (Android 6.0.1).

To clarify, on a Nexus 5 device running Android 6 you're not seeing "offline" notifications at all?

Retested on Nexus 5 with a fresh install and the "offline" notification now appears. Could not reproduce the issue anymore.

Hello,
No snackbar notification is displayed on a Nexus 6 (Android 7.1.1).
I've retested this on a fresh install and the snackbar was then displayed. I can't find exact STR for this as it seems to reproduce at random.
