Steps to reproduce:

What happened before is described at
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1306909

Seamonkey reloaded all the mails for some reason.

Actual results:

The browser was slow, but you couldn't see what it is doing. There was no indication that it is busy, or if it is blocked by the browser or mailnews.

From time to time if you performed some mail operations you eventually get a message like "loading mail 543 of 5234" on the bottom, but then you might not see any indication for the next half hour. You don't have any clue what is going on and how long it will last.

Expected results:

SM should display that it is busy and what it is doing currently.
