I noticed this in Aurora, but its also valid for current Nightly
STR:
1. Enable Developer Theme (about:addons > Appearance)
2. Ctrl+shift+P to enable Private Mode
3. Got to any https protected site, e.g. https://developer.mozilla.org/
ER:
The (i) site info icon should be white on black (like it is when not in Private Mode). Same for the "Tracking Protection" icon.
PS I wasn't able to inspect/select the html/css for the icons with the Browser Toolbox, so cannot give any more info on what kind of css/svg this might be causing.
