I have an interesting idea that we can probably make bugs depend on issues on GitHub, and receive notifications via bugmail when an issue is resolved. I think it is feasible if we have a hook (or just an account automatically subscribes related issues) on GitHub, and maintain a status table for all issues we are tracking. Its complexity probably isn't worth its benefit at present, so I wouldn't put it a high priority. But I guess it is something Bugzilla can consider having.
Apparently, I meant its benefit probably isn't worth its complexity :)
