From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020318 BuildID: 2002031803 when resizing the width of the PROGRESS column in the new DOWNLOAD MANAGER, it will overlap the TIME REMAINING. When download is in progress the time will be displayed in the progress bar. When download is complete FINISH will extend into TIME REMAINING column Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.download something 2.open download manager 3.resize the column for PROGRESS Actual Results: overlapping columns Expected Results: no overlap? e.g minimum required width for column?

I don't know if this is related but on linux build 2002032008 I noticed that column resizing is completly incoherent. For example, dragging the vertical bar between "Transferred" and "Speed" will resizes the column "Time Remaining".

Resizing the columns in Windows 2000 does not work. I do NOT get the <-> when I put the curser over the | seperating the columns. I can drag the columns to a new position and when I resize the window the columns resize automatically. But resizing an individual column like the progress indicator does not work. Reproducible: Always (build 2002110804, OS windows 2000 service pack 2) Steps to Reproduce: 1.download something 2.open download manager 3.resize the column for PROGRESS Result: you cannot resize the column.
per comment 5 : there seems to be a general resize problem in recent mozilla builds : see also bug 178827 which was caused by 178604
Not sure which check-in fixed this (perhaps bug 178604 ?) but problem does not occur anymore on Moz 2002122408)
