In moving the test pilot mailing list to discourse, one of the community members sent test posts from a new email address, then found that his replies to individual people on the thread were getting dropped.
I am guessing this was caused by the default rule that trust level 0 users can't send private messages?
It would be great to document the limitations imposed on new users, along the lines of this mozilla-advocacy Discourse thread: https://discourse.mozilla-advocacy.org/t/new-user-guidance/36.
It would also be good to document whether any of those limitations are custom settings, or if we just follow the Discourse defaults.
Thanks!
