User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:50.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/50.0
Build ID: 20161208153507

Steps to reproduce:

Searched for known AMP pages

Actual results:

Known AMP pages are not listed in the google search results and either the desktop version or site mobile version is provided instead. This is slow.

Expected results:

I expected, since I was using google search, that I would get google optimised AMP pages. I have tested in Chrome and this works. Have tested in Firefox Mobile Beta also and tested on multiple sites. Phone is Sony Xperia Z5. I assume this is not a Firefox design decision as really it's up to Google what to display and how on their own search engine right?
Yup, most probably because Google isn't serving us the full mobile site.

I wonder why they say Firefox is supported then.

Supported should indicate that it actually works.
@karlcow: Duplicate of bug 975444?

I agree that bug could well be related. If you mark as duplicate, perhaps a note could be made that this is breaking AMP on mobile - I could be wrong but would have though in that case google would prefer it worked no matter the browser.
Sebastian yes, probably. We do not receive the tier1 that Google sends to Chrome. Thanks.
I have contacted Google but so far… a bit of silence.
