Steps to reproduce:
I press Ctrl-N and immediately start entering the recipient.
Actual results:
At first the focus in in the main message text area, and depending on how fast you are the first few characters appear there, while only the rest appears in the recipient field.
Expected results:
all the characters should appear in the recipient field.
This is hard to reproduce on my (pretty fast) desktop machine, and consistently reproducable on my (slower) laptop.

forgot to mention, i noticed this for the first time quite a long time ago, at least half a year, if not a full year.

I can see that on latest trunk (TB 53), too. The window needs to be created and then some code kicks in that puts the focus into the recipient field.
I don't think we want to dedicate any resources to this.
