interesting regression: when i dropdown some of menulists in various pref panels (see below), the highlighting doesn't appear. doesn't matter if i'm using the mouse or the keyboard to select an item, and it occurs in both modern and classic themes. this was fine with 2002.03.22.08 comm bits --currently see this bug in 2002.03.25.08 bits. (tested linux rh7.2 so far.) the menulists affected include the following -- *other* menulists in prefs do *not* appear to be affected. a. Fonts: any of the 5 font family menulists: serif, sans-serif, fantasy, cursive, monospace b. Languages: Default Char Coding menulist c. Internet Search: Default Search Engine menulist d. Mailnews > Message Display: Languages Char Coding menulist e. Mailnews > Composition: Char Coding menulist
note: i can still *select* an item from the affected menulists --i just cannot *see* what that selection is.
Nominating for mozilla1.0 as well.
