Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0
Build ID: 20170126030209
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create Live Bookmark
2. Add to Bookmark Toolbar
3. Hover hover it and find item.
4. Right click
Actual results:
There are options to 'Open in New Tab', 'Open in New Window', and 'Open in New Private Window' but no 'Open in Container Tab'.
Expected results:
Should have another item for opening in container tab (maybe with another drill down menu to choose which one).
Why not for all bookmark items?
Like <!ENTITY openLinkCmdInContainerTab.label "Open Link in New Container Tab">

Yes, sorry; I was focused on live bookmarks, but all bookmark items would be great.
Also, when I was writing this bug, I noticed that Groups of Bookmarks didn't have an option to 'Open all in New Window', like Chrome has. That would be nice too (I mean all the options would be good but I don't know how hard that is). :)

Changed the title.

You can fill a new bug for it, and I agree with it.
Summary: Allow 'Open in Container Tab' from Live Bookmark item → Allow 'Open in Container Tab' from Bookmarks item

Sorry, I just found the bug 437526. You can vote for it, although it is no activity for a long time...

In addition, it would be great that the behavior takes the keyboard shortcuts into consideration, as suggested in https://github.com/mozilla/testpilot-containers/issues/119
Component: Security → Bookmarks & History

How is this bug a duplicate of #1213290 ? They look nothing alike to me.
This one is about being able to open a bookmark in a container tab -- any container tab -- just like a URL on a page.
The other one is about associating context with bookmarks, a completely different beast.
Please reopen and fix.

Sometimes mistakes are made. I'll change this to a duplicate of bug 1545950 instead, for the record, as that's closer the same as this bug.
