For many years I have used Sent folder=Inbox for all of my imap accounts - not a normal setting. Users who keep sent messages in their inbox will hit an unintended, undesirable side effect of bug 1320832/bug 308148 aka mail.imap.filter_on_new=true - sent messages can now get filtered out of the Inbox, even if a filter does not have "After Sending" enabled.
