1337446 - traffic numbers for Thunderbird start page

Thunderbird is planning to take over the website from Mozilla hosting.

To help with planning, I'd like rough traffic numbers for the start page, since it is 90%+ of the traffic, and the traffic numbers could be significant for CDN/Caching planning.

This page does not have google analytics on it, so we need numbers from somewhere else, possibly server logs.

(Or I suppose we could add GA to the page for a week and see, that would also work).

The page is at https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/release/start/ (and all other language codes).

Peter: Going to re-open this bug as it appears that traffic to /thunderbird/release/start/ dropped to pretty much zero on May 2nd, 2017. Was GA or GTM removed from this page or it is some other bug?

That's because all the traffic went away :) I redirected it to our servers at https://start.thunderbird.net/ on May 2nd. Didn't really think anyone over there was paying attention to the page, otherwise I would have notified you, sorry if there was a bit of a panic :(

I'm still working on the rest of the website, and I had planned to request rewrites and notify you guys after the whole thing was deemed production ready.
