What problem would this feature solve?
======================================
We have now more than 61% of the UI translated (https://pontoon.mozilla.org/bg/mdn/). It is time to start translating the content. Also it gets hard to translate the rest of the UI without context (using MDN). Even the staging server (https://developer.allizom.org/bg/) is not enough now as there the content can not be edited
Who has this problem?
=====================
Bulgarian visitors miss UI and content in Bulgarian
How do you know that the users identified above have this problem?
==================================================================
I am a Bulgarian visitor. I would like to read some resources in my native language.
How are the users identified above solving this problem now?
============================================================
They try to read in English. While this helps them to learn English. This s not the purpose of MDN.
Do you have any suggestions for solving the problem? Please explain in detail.
==============================================================================
Yes. Enable the UI in Bulgarian. This will allow people like me to translate articles.
Is there anything else we should know?

We've pushed a fix for bug 1340003, so content can be editing on the staging server. This contains pages from last year or earlier, so the translations are of limited use, but you can now see the UI for translating in Bulgarian.
The next action is still to find a MDN core team must be willing to mentor the localization leader. I'm needinfo's jswisher as the most likely to make this happen.

Good news! Thank you! We now have 69% of the UI translated. I am going to the Mozilla L10n workshop in Barcelona (25-26 March) and will discuss the matter with Jeff Beatty too. Should I understand that there is no more technical obstacles and it is only a matter of enabling BG on production?

There are no remaining technical issues, and it is technically simple to enable Bulgarian on developer.mozilla.org . The process issue of finding a localization leader is more difficult, and we're thinking of ways to solve it.

I will mentor Krasimir as l10n leader for Bulgarian. John, please enable Bulgarian in production as soon as it fits within your workflow to do so.
