Steps to reproduce:
(using the new Lithium platform thing) Send a private message and open Sent private messages (https://support.mozilla.org/t5/notes/v1_1/privatenotespage/tab/outbox).
Actual results:
There is a note saying, "X of X messages unread". (Even if I open a sent message, the number of unread message remains the same.)
Expected results:
Sent messages cannot be sorted by unread/read, can they? The note about unread essages should not be displayed.

See also bug1341579 comment5 that is suggesting a workaround.
Possibly this bug should be a duplicate of bug1341579
Or is one bugs going to be for removing the counter temporarily and the other to fix the counter at a later date.
If so bug summaries may need modifying.
