We uplifted bug 1342358 to NSS 3.28.4 and would love to have that fixed too. It affects all TLS versions.

We should probably keep this on the radar as a dot release ride-along if/when that happens. Unfortunately, it's too late for Fx52 at this point otherwise as the second RC build is already ready and due for release on Tuesday.

It does seem a nice idea, but then we should have a NSS 3.29.4 too...

The crash volume in bug 1342358 seems low enough that I think this can wait for 53 / 52.1.0esr, so moving the tracking to firefox-esr52.
