A fresh profile will default the mailto handler. If an addon installs a mailto protocol handler, the user is not presented with an opportunity to use it. They have to know to go into Preferences/Applications and change the setting. If we reset the default handler when the protocol handler is added, then the user would get to choose it upon use.
