When a bug switches from view to edit mode, the "Depends on" or "Blocks" bug lists change from bug links to a list of bug numbers in a text field. The old interface kept the bug links, which was nice because it allowed you to mouse over a bug number to see the other bug title in a tool tip.
I often need to look up a bug or two when manually editing a meta bug's long list of dependent bugs. With the new modal interface, I must copy each bug number and manually open that bug in a new tab instead of simply mousing over the bug links.

This is a blocker for disabling the old UI. I’ll try to solve the issue.
